Simple and fair.

What happens before and after your stay, in short.

Cancel before you've paid — whether you're waiting on the host or you've been approved but haven't paid yet — and there's nothing to refund. We never asked for a payment in the first place.

After you've paid: the booking is fully refundable up to 7 full days before the start date. After that, it's non-refundable.

If the host has to cancel for any reason, you get a full refund right away — security deposit included.

If the host's 24-hour approval window expires without a response, no payment is ever asked for. We'll automatically suggest similar places.
